How can a non-profit raise funds through Sleeping Cricket?
Step 1: Add your organization to the “Organizations we Support” – http://www.sleepingcricket.org/register/
Step 2: Get the word out to your supporters to buy items from your Sleeping Cricket “catalog”.

Must I register?
Only Non-Profits need to register – as we need to know where to send the money.

What are the fees?
There are none. Non-profits get 80% of the profits, Sleeping Cricket keeps 20%.

How does the non-profit receive funds?
A check from Sleeping Cricket will be mailed when the organization accumulates about $20 in “their account”.

Can I choose the items to be offered for sale in our “catalog”?

Absolutely.

If I bought something from a shopping partner, how do I know if Sleeping Cricket and my favorite organization received their share?

If you selected an organization you want to support, clicked on any of the logos or advertisements on the site and then bought something from that site – it worked! Our shopping partners do not give us private information about their customers – who bought what and when, etc.  Sleeping Cricket can’t send you a confirmation or a “Thank-you!”  But we wish we could!

Can I coordinate our On-line Silent Auction with a live-auction event?
Yes, of course.

Can I use Sleeping Cricket to sell raffle tickets?
Absolutely. The raffle license, if applicable, is your responsibility, of course. Just remember to list the tickets as “Multiple Items” and the number of tickets you want to sell on-line.

Can I donate an item to be auctioned to benefit my favorite organization?

Yes, but it is up to the organization. Contact the organization, so they might add it to their items up for bid.

Why is Sleeping Cricket a “.org”?

It is incorporated as a business, but uses .org in its web address to show it’s relatively non-commercial nature, culture and Kingdom focus.
